I run the 1600x20 tire on A3 wheels. Tire is 300 lbs. my wheel is 140 lbs with insert. I can't tell you the other wheel weights, however i've seen first hand the hemtt wheel and the steel used is twice as thick as the A3 wheel.

335-345lbs per tire. Rim weight depends on the style rim.

No, they're not the same. MK48 uses a 21x11" rim.

Yes they'll bolt on.

We sell them for $219 each for a tire. Rims about $50.

Thank you, so a 1600x21 is not worth much due to the odd size, that figues, the gov. would have TWO 10 ton truck size tires, maybe so the Army can not steal from the Marines or the Marines can not steal from the Army.

Can the rims and tires sets ( 8 ) fit on either truck (mk48/hemtt)

I really have no clue why they'd use a 20x11 wheel on the HEMTT and a 21x11 on the MK48 unless there was a drum clearance issue on the MK48. I would *think* that you could use the MK48 wheel on a HEMTT if that was the reason behind the two sizes. But possibly not the other way around. The tire heights are nearly the same though.

I think you are correct about the drum issue. I had the HEMTT rims on my 920 and had to do drum work but with the MK stuff the bigger rim size no problems. So I have MK rim and tire on the front of the 920 and HEMMT rims and 16x20 tires on the rear as the size is too close.

I have not mounted my 16x21's yet, but I can tell you this. If the tire falls over flat on the ground.... it is a three person job to pick that bastard back up! They are HEAVY. I was told when I picked them up that they were 495 pounds EACH. The rim is heavier and the rubber is heavier. Will post pics if I find anyone in central Wisconsin that wants to come help get em on the truck. (food/beer provided!)
