I just wrapped up installing a 4L80E in my M998. Thank you everyone who posted info about this, especially Augi.
I am having a problem that I cannot find any information on. The truck seems to drive fine, however at exactly 60 MPH the transmission downshifts from 4th to 3rd? I tired adjusting the TPS several times, no change, exactly 60.
Trans is out of a HMMWV and I am using the military ECU. Trans light does not come on indicating there is a problem. Any ideas?
Also, for those that have done this swap (and have a tach) what kind of RPM's are you running at various speeds? Right now I am turning 2200 at 55 mph, this seemed high to me. Tach reads 650 at idle
