Totally new guy here could possibly be posting in wrong section.

Do any 923 owners have any experience with there unit not shifting into low range ? Any known issues that could be the death of the transfer case? I did see a post were units were stuck in low range was unable to find any where unit would not shift into low range .

Drain the air tanks try to shift hi-low with no air in the tanks. If it shifts then the air lines to the T case are prob backwards.

Make sure you have good batteries and the electronic lockout button (on the tip of the t-case lever) cable isn't damaged or else it will not shift. Also try rolling forward gently and try shifting then as some times the gears just need to align properly.

Well it's not my 5 Ton yet went to look at it today unfortunately it's owned by someone who bought it for the wow factor ! He even told my wife that after she pointed out the transmission dipstick that he's been looking for and couldn't find. Only thing I had to do to get it into Low Range was depress the button and pull up on the handle just like the TM said. Went right into low range and preformed just fine . Also Supra just needed to adjust the parking brake on the lever I'm so glad I found SS and started researching and asking questions and reading the TMs . Even my wife who drives a firetruck a TI-3000 and Striker series 3000 said we should get the 5 ton to rescue it from the guy who has it! Wife told him he owes us $$$$ for fixing his problems . It might be my first MV acquisition via trade. Thanks for all your help thus far
