1998 M1088 with newer trans keypad and computer

I won a 98 M1088 out of NY yesterday. I have not got it back yet but the pics show a newer gen single digit keypad and a trans computer where the vim module is located on the first gen lmtv trucks. Anyone have any insight into this? It said trans wont engage in the listing it could be something simple. I dont have much knowledge of the newer trans control system and I dont have an A1 manual.

Ok found the WTEC III keypad computer and harness in the LMTV 1st gen 6x6 parts manual

I bid on that truck, decided the cost to get it back to Texas was more than what one from Texas would cost. Great buy!

Its only around 300 miles from me. Not too hard to get back. Something else to play with.
