2 1/2 gallon Jerry Cans?

I have just picked up a pair of 2 1/2 Gallon Jerry Cans identical to the WWII 5 gallon cans I have on my WC-51. They both have the mounts and a nozzle. Has anyone out there ever seen these before?

The M-62 in drove in Nam had one mounted on the back deck. It was foe extra hyd. oil.
