2 inch ball conversion m1102 trailer

Is there anyway to replace the pintle hitch on a m1102 trailer with a a 2 inch ball type hitch?

Probably cheaper, easier, and safer to just get a pintle or pintle/ball combo hitch for your tow vehicle.

I bought both from Reese direct & they had a great offer of free shipping along with reduced prices. If you have no other trailers, the pintle only is 16K rating, complete for slightly over a Benjamin. The combo with a 2" ball is 30 bills extra. Both units will work perfectly for what you need on the M1102. Its height is the only problem for most people! Look into it.

You can get the ball for it for between 150 to 250.

I second on just getting a pintle receiver. You gain articulation and safety with the pintle vs the ball.

I agree with others and prefer a pintle to ball set up.
