Questions on installing 12v items.. This is what I have a 2008 Humvee M1097R1 6.5 3spd. I see in the wiring diagram for the charging system on the Voltage regulator N3135 that there is a yellow post labeled 14v. I can not find any info in the TM's related to this terminal. If I put a volt meter on, reading idle 12.7 volts and 2500 RPM 13.9. Assuming I could use this to power/charge a third battery for 12. volt items or a 12 v winch. My issues are I can not find any data related to this yellow connector, for voltage or amp rating. It is a 7/16 size stud so assume it should be able to but out some amps.
