2009 work weekend on the USS Torsk

Well, just got some pics from the 2009 work weekend on the USS Torsk submarine in Baltimore. Once a year, vets from all over the country descend on the Torsk to lend a hand restoring this old boat, from stem to stern. I was only able to attend on Sat, Oct. 3rd, but was happy to show up. I lent a hand in radio and control going over the RBS radio with Chief Bill, and doing some other re-work on the 21MC sets, painting the interior pieces, etc. Others did resto work on the topside decking, the engines, electrical, the torpedo rooms, etc. A great weekend for all!

Looks great Mike! I would have loved to be out there to help you guys but according to my stupid court order, im not allowed back in Baltimore! Not like im missing a whole lot anyway!

its good to see the Torsk Is coming back tougher!
