2013 NYC Veterans Day Parade !!

The MTA is putting the annual NYC Vets Parade convoy together right now !! All Steel Soldiers are invited to attend, 11/11/11 is the time , da y ,and month .. We convoy in from NJ, We start at the Dover Armory rt 15 S xt 34 off rt 80 1/4 mile on left at 0600, pull out 0610 sharp. we convoy to the 6 brothers diner in Clifton and pull out 0800 sharp under a Police escort to our muster point. It is an all day affair, the parade is about 3 plus hours long we get to watch about half before we pull out, We then muster at Daisy Maes BBQ for an early dinner corner of 46th street and 11th Avenue . Then convoy out thru the Lincoln Tunnel again.

It is an amazing day and the convoy thru NYC is amazing, I have been in a few police escorts and this is the most amazing ever, The Tunnel Authority has closed all lanes for us to pass in the past, sometimes depending on traffic they have given us our own tunnel. Watch it on FOX 5 from noon till 3PM , Will be streamed on line at the vetsday.org For the latest listings of cities and tv stations visit vetsday.org/view the parade features 200 groups and 20,000 Participants !!!!! And viewed by over 600,000 PLUS Spectators that line the streets !1!!!!! !

To anyone who wants to come, be prepared , warm clothes, snacks/food/drink. There are coffee shops and delis right around the corners but they fill up pretty good as the day goes on. A camera is a must !
