Anyone notice how the -10 for the M35A2 series went from Distro A to Distro C on LOGSA recently??? The 24's and 24Ps are still Distro A.....

The 1988 version has always been C while the 2006 version is A. The 1088 version has been spread amongst the public hand for many years.

Distro A is 'for All Units, others are more limited, if I remember correctly. Just means that only units that still have the trucks on their TOE can order the manuals. The Parts manuals are generally restricted to larger shop facilities, and so they are "A" to everyone at that level of maintenance.

No SCSG-G4, thats not it at all.
A means it's public release
the others are NOT public release, and have varying ammounts of distribution to within the milittary and contractors that can see them. Has nothing to do with maintaince shops and the like....

Thanks for the correction AND the link to the official word. To my knowledge, I've only dealt with Distro "A" manuals, even though some of my WWII ones have 'restricted' on the cover. I'll add it to the list of things to check on when I retire, as I have several hundred FM's and TM's to examine.
