33si alternator installation question

I have purchased a couple 33 si alternators to install in my 931s and am not sure on how to wire it. Could someone provide some info on this?? The threads I searched through didn't give me details?

It's a one wire installation.
One positive and the ground.
The smaller two wires you just tape off and fold back and tape again.
They are not used with the new setup.


Its that easy.

What are you doing about the bracket? I'm not comfortable with "spacers".

Thanks guys, done and good to go. I'm using oem cummins brackets, just bought last 2 I could find on eBay, probably get the rest from local auto parts store. I have 3 now, need 2 more.

Cummins part number for the bracket is 3929418. Locally they are going for about 120, on ebay I found them for half that but they are gone as of right now. I think I might fab one based on the cummins part so I can replicate them whenever needed. Trucks with new alternators are doing great now. They are out tonight fighting ice.... again thanks fellas for the help!!

A2 Alternator bracket is what that part number is.

On the NHC250 motor I just made and welded a new ear on the stock mount, that way you can use the stock alt or the new one.
