I have been installing an M35 personnel heater kit in my M813 and wanted to share the bracket I made to bring it all together. I plan on adding a turbo to my 813, hence the M35 kit with driver side diverter piping. My truck previously had a heater in it that was removed some time in its past but the holes remain in the dash and firewall. I first tried the brackets from the kit mounted in the existing holes, but the short cable wouldn't reach the diverter box and the shifter hit when put in reverse.
For this setup to work the short cable needs to be in the toggle switch hole.
Instead of drilling out the stock brackets that don't match each other anyway I designed a new one to mount to the existing dash holes in the center of the dash.
Here is the bracket with the circuit breaker mounted.
I had the bracket laser cut at work out of 12 gauge steel and then had it formed up. The bracket mounts 4 pieces quite nicely: the 2 cables, toggle switch, and the circuit breaker. It's centered on the dash and it misses the shifter!
