Hello folks my neighbor has a 47 Oshkosh with a Snogo blower assembly on the rear the truck is in pretty decent shape and he uses it probably a dozen times a year when the snow get to the level to warrant it. The truck has a 6 Cyl. Cummins non-turbocharged engine to drive the truck and a straight 8 CAT diesel to drive the blower, it is of course all wheel drive and 4 wheel steer. The problem is last winter he did some damage to the rear passenger side hub assembly and the rear axle no longer drives. Do you guys have any good ideas on where I can direct him to get replacement parts and possibly some information on how to take all this apart to figure out what is broken so he can secure working parts. Also this blower is and Ex-Navy vehicle, it was given to the Fargo Airport Authority after the Navy was done with it then the city of Fargo got it from the airport, then this fellow got it from the city of Fargo. Oh and the Airport just received their BRAND NEW Oshkosh blower it is truly a Beautiful looking huge piece of equipment! Sorry I regress! Back to the 47 any info your folks could suggest to me concerning this old sno blower would sure be hugely appreciated! And when we get it back on all fours again I will post pics!
Thanks very much for your help
Karl
