4l80 swap into m114

hello all

I am working on a M114 and wanting to use a 4L80E transmission and was just wondering if anyone has done this yet?
length is a factor and also u-joint configuration.

Patracy is doing this I believe. I too have been contemplating this but haven't sat down to compare it vs the stock transmission.

I've done it twice. The length is something that you'll need to work around and there's some creative U-joint work that can be done as well.
