6.5 N.A. dies on rev up in idle

Hey folks. Second post today :) I noticed today after I replaced my belt. When I rev up the motor (push gas pedal a few times to increase the rpm) I noticed that if I just let off from a rev, the motor dies. It will start right back up. But I don’t know if that’s normal while in file (🤔) or if I need to track something down. Vacuum or?

thoughts and advice welcome.

Fuel pump
injection pump, going bad or algae in the fuel and pump, change fuel filter and replace all rubber fuel lines.
if cold? No cold advance working
air being introduced into the fuel supply

take you’re pick…
I’ll replace the filter and recheck. It is when cold. I haven’t tested when hot. Might get it out tomorrow and get it up to temp and retest. I saw where someone did some Diesel Kleen too, and it fixed his issue.

What did you come up with?
Mine does the same. Cleaned out fuel tank, changed all filters in system, ran Seafoam through intake and crankcase (cleared up other issue).

Cold advance is next on list.
