6.5 turbo going in cucv

ok i just got the 6.5 turbo diesel for the cucv. i got in out of a 1993 k 2500 2wd. the 1993 dos not have a mechanical pump on the side of the motor it has the turbo oil return line ther and it dos not have the vac pump on the back of the motor it has a cap. i am asking will the vac pump drop right in if i remove the cap. and wat do i have to do to put the mechanical pump back on.

As stated :ditto: the fuel pump location has a block off plate remove it and install the fuel pump push rod and pump you will have to relocate the oil return. Or just install an electric pump and leave that part alone! The vacuum pump you remove the plug ( as you called it will actually be the oil pump drive) pull it out and reinstall the vacuum pump with oil pump drive.
