9/23/10 Ft Riley Deuces?

Did anybody here win the M109 or the M35a2 out of Ft. Riley today? They originally were listed in Wichita and the had the descriptions and photos backwards. The 35 had a make shift plywood box and did not look too bad otherwise. The M109 had a bent left fender, mirror bracket and probably door. I called Wichita GL and they did not act like they cared. I spoke to Jeff through a PM about the Riley listing and he made contact with GL there. I wanted to bid, but was afraid of the aftermath. They were still listed backwards yesterday, I did not check on them today. Glen

I did speak to the GL rep about the photos and descriptions being reversed. I thought they would fix it or pull the lots and re-do it, apparently not. So if someone here got them please let us know which one you bid on and which one you expect to recover. If I was a betting man I'd bet whoever "won" the 109 is going to be disapointed when they get the M35a2.

The M109 listing: 2320 - Trucks & Truck Tractors, Wheeled at Government Liquidation $690 Some one made off with a steal there. They might not get a M109 but for 690 I would happily take the other truck.


I know links to GL are against the rules and when/if we find out who got the trucks I will remove them. Or if they go dead Ill remove them.
