If I am changing my gear oil in the axles, can I use the old gear oil (filtered of course) as fuel in the deuce? I wouldn't use it as strong as 50/50 with diesel, just a gallon or two at a time.

50/50 is fine. 80/20 won't push through the filters fast enough under full load. A gallon of gasoline fixes two thirds of a tank when you figure out that 80/20 is too thick.
