Yesterday I drove the second deuce in a Peanut Festival parade in a small town north of here. Carried a number of folks in the rear, covered with political signs so no pics.
Probably no more than a forty mile run there and back, including the parade.
Located the source of some rattles, will take those out this next couple of weeks, temp normal and best of all no milk shake oil.
I have posted a couple of threads on my difficulties finding the source of AF getting into the oil. It turned out to be a cracked head in one of the intake ports above the valve. A new head from TNJ Murray cured the problem, the short version.
After weeks of frustration, I got it back on the road and checking the oil now is just to see if it is at an acceptable level. With Fall here, the temps have dropped from the 105 range making driving enjoyable again. Great fun!
