A Quick Question about fuel flow in the Hydraulic head

Do they all have the electric pump I have problem with no fuel going to the injectors. I get lots of fuel out of bleeder top of filters and when I removed the plug center of hh I got fuel out there to when I spin it over. I removed the cover on the side and check the shut off it seems free. The hole under the plug center of HH when I look in I see a very small hole. I placed a small stright allen in the small hole it moves when I spin the engine but not sure if it's as much as it should. Should I remove the hh next and check the clip and button.

Fuel should flow out of the center hole when the electric pump is on.

Ok I was getting fuel to pump. Pulled fuel shut off cover that all look good. Removed plug center of HH middle of lines fuel would come out there too. I put a allen in the hole it moved when you turned the engine but I pulled the HH just to check it. I see nothing wrong so what do I need to check next.

Was the button and retainer on the plunger and the thrust washer (bowtie?) not split in two?

I pulled it out and this is how it looks. I see nothing wrong. Was not sure what to check next.

I may have found the problem. When I was checking the fuel shutoff I removed the two screws with wire in them and was checking valve. But when I put it back together I tried to operate it with the screws back in it and it was stuck. So i took it apart and freed it up. When I tried it I was getting fuel out of holes where lines go on. I put the lines back on and my battery was dead.

That was to be my next suggestion. From what I have read the "wedge" must be in the canal and it must move freely. It's kinda hard to line up but once done you can "feel" it working. Great that you fixed it. By the way, excellent photos of the HH.

The duce is running. I found it thanks to this site. It was the fuel shut off on the side of the pump.
