When replacing the stock oil filter canisters on my M185A3 with spin-on units, I noticed the labels attached to each. On one canister it mentioned a "warranty". I wonder what type of "warranty" Toole Army Depot provided on their rebuild and to who? The other label seemed to indicate that the term "multifuel" was anything but and was only to be used in an emergency when diesel wasn't available...

Had a bunch of generators come in from rebuild with those new fancy touch-panel screens to control it. One of them had moisture inside of the control panel, rendering it inop. Seal/sticker was still intact, never disassembled. replacement cost was in excess of $10K for the panel. I called the number on the rebuild plate, explained what our issue was, and they sent us a new one, no cost, we just had to return the moistured-up one. That's a good enough 'warranty' for me on Army equipment.
