The Yellow Ribbon group is active in MN. Helps all veterans and spouses through donations and volunteering. I was asked to be the jockey with my truck to honor these vets in a fourth July parade. Two soldiers had recently returned home. One soldier was a WW2 vet that was able to climb the ladder to get in the back of my truck. He stood with the help of his walker through the entire procession. My 80 year old mom rode jump seat.
I did notice when we proceeded through, that many vets in the crowd wept as we past.
I was glad to have the opportunity to help.
