A3 wheels finally on!

Here's a few pics of the new look.Big difference over the stock wheels.Got them about a month ago from Hundy and finaly found the time yesterday to put them on.The military in thier infinite wisdom mounted the tires all the same way so you can see the drivers side is backwards.I'll get to that later! BTW I have six wheel valve and cover assy's. that came off if anyone's interested. Thanks!

Maybe not as dumb as you think....enemy can't tell which way the vehicle is going by looking at the tracks when they do this. Sort of like the "non-directional tread" idea. It means, the tracks do not give away the direction....

I'm not a tracking guru. That being said, would it be possible to tell the direction of travel simply due to the slight variations of the front wheels when turning? (Assuming that the back 2 wheels on the track aren't tracking perfectly behind the front in a turn.)

Thats a myth.

Frankly installing the tires on wheels simplifies logistics all the way around. Take a look at your trucks tracks in sand or soft earth someday. You can clearly see which way the tires pushed against to move it forward.
