AD-9 Dryer Style owners

Good morning , Just had a quick question , Installed the AD-9 type air dryer and was curious to normal function, I also changed my governor at the same time (getting it ready to travel) and wanted piece of mind , though everything seems to be working fine I was curious when the compressor cuts back in I hear a small amount of air purge out the bottom of the dryer was wondering if it was normal and it had to do with the turbo valve within these units.
