On the end of the governor, there is a set screw and a jamb nut. IIRC, turn the screw in to increase PSI.

The compressor won't care about more or bigger tanks. It'll just take longer to build pressure when the truck's been sitting long enough to bleed down.

Bigger or more tanks can give you more of a margin in some limited braking situations but can be downright handy for running tools or airing up the tires after airing them down for mud or cross county snow driving.

The MV's with "air over hydrolic" brakes, usually don't run as high air pressure, as do the commercial trucks, with straight air brakes.
