Alt1 problem

Ok have problems with gen 1 or something. The gen 1 light stays on when ignition is off. Unplug gen 1 it goes out. looks to be the diode pack. Any Ideas?? Has it happened to anyone else??

Time for a rebuild.

Cost ~$50 to do a complete rebuild yourself or ~$100 to have it done depending on the local market. The diode-trio only is around $5

Instructions are in the TM 9-2320-289-34 manual.

Thank you thats is what I thought. With the starter smelling like burnt wiring it si time to rebiuld the whle system it looks like.
