alternator hookup

alternator was missing. how to know where 2 small wires go? no marking on new alternator, nothing in manual. wires are TL35 and TL110

There should be 2 wires going to the regulator. I wouldnt connect anything to the rear regulator terminal. It just needs 24v at the front regulator terminal to excite it. One of the small leads should have 24v (only when the engine is running). There should be a ground strap and an engine harness ground wire which is black.

The wire labeled PL-35 goes to the front terminal on the regulator, 24V from excitation circuit breaker and relayK11? Dosnt excite alternator untill oil pressure switch closes. The one labeled PL-110 goes to the rear terminal. It goes to the STE/ICE connector, some measure of alternator/regulator performance. Then 12V, 24V and ground strap connections...
