Left out thurs. nite at midnite for Annville Pa. from raleigh NC with Dwayne and Rob co of the CMVPA. Got there around 730h and met the rest of our guys that had left before us. Met the GL guy and found our trucks. Mine has the arctic camo paint job. What a surprise to find out it has a new engine, trans, and transfer case, and 10 new tires. Fired rite up. After changing oil and all filters and checking everything else we were off for NC. Spent the nite in Maryland to avoid rush hours in DC. Left next morning and trip back was pretty uneventful until my new engine showed 225. Stopped and pulled the thermostat and then it ran 200. Got to Raleigh NC around 700h. After saying goodbye to my fellow truckers I set off for another 2 .5 hours to my home in High Point NC.
Went out this morning to find out the temp sender waas bad. Swapped it out and reinstalled thermostat and walla 180 deg. Thanks to Rob for all he did. And to my fellow CMVPA pals who made this a fun triip. Now to get my back working after my 725 milke deuce odyssey.
