any good/bad exp with electric winch on mv?

thinking of getting an electric winch instead of pto driven type, has anyone used a 24v electric with any success

i believe there is at least one member on here that has the electirc winch on there truck and had succes with it. i dont see any problems with it as long as you mount it strong enough to the truck.

I had thought about an electric winch. I get scared everytime i go off alone into the mud haha
