Mike's Deuce need compressor work (among 7rl) other things to pass NYS inspeciton.
He bought a used one for $200.00, only to find that the crank end play is shocking! (and apparently UPS managed to break the pulley!).
His is a single piston, while the replacement is a twin. He is wondering if anyone has anything to offer, as to the whys and wherefores of singles vs. duals, and also would like to know where he might obtain rings to rebuild his original.
We are in Watertown NY (80 mi. north of Syracuse).
