I am considering making HMMWV 4-man cargo covers (wagon covers). Is there anyone who can confirm they'd be interested? As I have a tubing bender, I can also develop a double hoop frame, similar to the military one. I'm thinking I would make it modular, so it breaks down for shipping. I've heard folks complain about the logistic of moving the 7ft wide frames when acquiring a cargo cover.
Materials will be MilSpec vinyl and civilian sailcloth (Hummer H1 material). Costs will be similar to slant backs, though probably a bit less since the frame seems simpler.
Anyway, I'm interested in feedback and ideas on the subject. I will continue making soft slant back kits and the occasional rear curtain as well.
