Anybody ever.....

Anybody ever load a disabled 5ton on to a drop deck,at a GL site?since they do not help in loading (even though there is a large fork truck 60' away)any ideas?

Have you asked if they will help you load? or asked the DRMO? Ours down here are friendly and will help us load.It is also a two way street, every time I am there I say some thing nice to them or help them.

The wreaker driver I sent for the longbed said that they just had him backup to a ramp and they pushed it right on for him. And when I got my 2 M105's GL use a big fork lift and pick them right up and set them on my trailer right where I wanted them.

I had a local tow agency load mine, cost a few $$$ but was less than a plane ticket

I was helped load 4 - M105's on my gooseneck trailer and a M35 a seperate time.
