Anyone Near New Orleans?

Im new to the site, but am finding the addiction grasping already. I plan to purchase a CUCV 1009 as my first MV. I recently found a place in Cairo, GA called Russels military vehicles. In talking to them, they seem very honest and straightforward. Is this a good place to purchase one? My mechanic skills are somewhat limited, so I would like something that has at least been "gone over" to some degree. I hear so many nightmare stories about GL. What are my options? Is anyone Near New Orleans that has information on attaining a cucv?

There are a few of us around here. Only had one CUCV purchase in my time and I lucked out through GL. I would suggest to go through the private sale route.
