anyone remove the blackout wiring?

look into removing my 1028. Going to use truck as a daily driver. wanted to use that spot for a few switches for lights in the winch. Not sure where to start. I don't want to remove something then have something else not work.

The service light switch is tied into your normal parking/running/headlights. You could probably wire around it, or just tuck it up behind the dash someplace.

The basic harness is the civilan one. The military stuff is a add on as you can see on the hand made quality (may be you do not see it, however we in Europe identify that relatively easy).
So the military stuff can be taken out with the loss of the military circuits. However, shwitch on your brain befor you cut any thing. Some things hang together!
