APC tow points/shackles

Guys can someone school me on the exact name for this type of
clevis towing connector that Derrick has for sale?

I am told that are for connecting to cables as pictured HERE and HERE

Slang names OK but an exact name of that type of connection is perfered.

I don't have the name to help, but a little info to add, as it might not be known.

The wire ropes have an oblong connector on their ends. It slides over that tow hook sideways and won't come off while pulling. They are very handy. I ended up with some to use with my wrecker. Not sure if this was common knowledge or not.

None available, sorry. They were all over a couple years ago. I'm kinda surprised they aren't more popular.

And yes, they do fit on the same brackets the usual deuce/5-ton/etc. have for the round clevises, using the same pins.
