Axle Shaft Lengths

I know some of you are project folks so here is some data for you... I measured the axle shafts on my LMTV when I did a gear change in case any of you get the idea to cut down the long side of the housings on a set of these axles and use short side shafts for narrow applications like jeeps.

Driver Front 26 5/8"
Pass Front 34 1/8"
Driver Rear 38 1/8"
Pass Rear 54 1/8"

Let me clarify... the front measurement is to the center of the cap to the end of the spline on the inner shaft
