Baldwin bf1268 filter question

Anyone know if this filter is sufficient enough to use for the fuel mod , I'm finding conflicting info called Baldwin they said 4 microns nominal . It's a pain to get to the parts store where I'm located, this is the one they handed the person I had pick one up when I gave napa the part number 3005 thanks guys
