Looking at putting the thicker glass windshields in my truck.
There was a set for sale of the 5/8 or 3/4” glass with the thicker retainers. Before I bought, he offered to test fit them in a 998. They do not fit into the lower built in retainer for the bottom of the glass. And up top there’s a decent gap.

if these were a supplemental thing there must be a way to make it work, seems like some type of adapter at the bottom could and take up the space at the top.

Anyone know how to mount them?

Make sure you have a right and a left, ballistic windshields have a plastic sheath on the inside surface so they are not interchangeable like the thin glass windshields.
