Hi all. Recent post got me thinking- next time I buy some tires, it might be smart to try to use run flat on steer axle. Are they A-Symmetric? If so, what way do you mount the "thin side" before the run flat rib-thing? Also, will the groves in the bead-lock part work with the air inlet for an A2 still with the CITS parts in place? Last year I had to drill an 1/2" hole in the bead lock grove of some surplus S African tires and bead locks I bought, fronts now. Lastly- for "non combat use" will I need grease, and how much? Thanks for what may be silly questions.

Another question is will your tires run against the run-flat while the CTIS is in the lower pressure settings? Interesting on the bead-locks in the African tires, I think they are the same that I am using, no drilling required…UploadFile1735941665.426583.jpg

Perhaps I didn't need the air-hole- was matching up with the USA ones with the hole in the slot. Yup- those are the tires I put on front; they steer nice. Still got to get my CITS working. Kept the parts in place- Spring project. Did not consider working CITS and run flat. My rear tire blow-out last summer got me spooked, I guess.
