Bed and Tailgate Pins

My REO Gasser has a dropside bed on it. The sides and the tailgate only have pins at the ends and they are really loose and rusted. I have a lathe and was thinking of just making new ones. Unless somebody knows of a place that has boxes of them just sitting around. I also started wondering about how loose or tight they should be. Anybody know the stock OD of the pins?
