Blairsville Show Reminder - July 3rd

This Saturday July 3rd. will be the "Salute to Men and Women in Uniform" show and cruise in that will be held on the square in Blairsville, GA. Military vehicles of all types are wanted as well as fire trucks, retired service vehicles and police cars. As I understand they will start gathering around 9 and it goes all day. Food is available and music all day with raffles and fun. This group puts on some fun cruise ins. There will also be old cars, hotrods and trucks of all vintages. If you are in north east Georgia or western NC this would be fun. Blairsville is located near Blue Ridge, Hiawassee, Young Harris, Cleveland and Murphy, NC. Here is a link for more information.

Blairsville Cruisers - July 3rd Salute to the Men and Women in Uniform, Military and Emergency Services

I plan on bringing my M35A2, pulling my M105A2 trailer. I'll arrive early in the morning and find a place to leave it on display. Since my rig will take up some room, I want to find a good place to park. I live in Hiawassee, so I'm only about 30 minutes away. I have a question about the time. I heard a radio commercial yesterday advertising the event and they said it ran from 1300 - 1700. I've read where it starts at both 0900 and 1300, so I'm not sure what is correct. Are you sure it starts at 0900? Perhaps it officially starts at 1300, but people will start arriving at 0900?
