Boot Replacement for the Air O Matic

Has anyone ever replaced the boot that covers the piston shaft for their Air O Matic power steering system? Before I break something trying to install the new boot I figured I would ask whether the long rod that does all the pushing and pulling is threaded where it hooks into the drop link. Any photos would be appreciated!!!! Thanks! Al Broadbent
