What is the process to adjust the brakes? I can’t find the manual and searching posts I am unable to locate anything.

Check the TM's. They'll tell ya .020" shim at the top of the shoes and .010" at the bottom. I just adjusted them .015" at both points.

It takes a bit of wiggling the top and bottom to get the right spacing. Especially if you've put on new shoes. I suspect new shoes will need to be re-adjusted after they wear in too.
