I remember reading some discussion about them here. Something about honing IMPORTED ones out out just to be safe as some come with a little surface rust in the insude. Recovery4x4 might have been the one posting about it.

I don't know about the complete cylinders, but the rebuild kits I got from Ted's have 'Made in USA' molded into the rubber parts. And they're only $4 per wheel... I got my 3-stone hone from NAPA for $20.

I clean up all my brake cylinders, new or used. I'd just rather know they were assembled right. I've had no problems with the overseas copies
