Brake line thread and size?

I know the steel break lines on a Deuce is 5/16" but what is the size and threads of the flexable rubber lines off the "Y" block between the rear axels?

I have to remove the rear tandems tomorrow and want to disconect the lines at the "Y" block, and use a plug temporarily in their place so I don't lose more break fluid than I have to. That way when I put it back togather I might not have to bleed anything.

So does anyone know the proper size plug to get?

Agreed about the bleeding. If you're careful you might well only have to bleed "downstream" from where you open the system, but you will not open the system without introducing air.

I'm with ya on the bleeding, I just didn't want to pull the axels and just leave the lines dripping and empty the system more than needed. I want to keep air entering the system to a minimum also dirt/grime. Plus with the cost of DOT5
