brake mastercylinder problem.

Today went to replace a rear brakeline that has been leaking,popped the hood so I could top off mastercylinder when done,and found m/c cover laying between inner fender and core support,the lever lock was on and is tight fit.This is the second time this has happened! It never happened until rear line let go. Hydro-boost and mastercyl. are brand new about 9 months ago. What could cause mastercyl. cover to come off like this? It has to be related to leaking rear line...

That's what I was thinking haha,or maybe a disgruntled neighbor when I start her up at 5:20 am..

Is there any brake fluid leakage/splashed out?

The first time yes,brake fluid every where.Second time no.
