Some help from the the experts please, new m109, new master cylinder, airpack, wheel cylinders, no leaks. Picked up last friday at WPAFB, no brake pedal, whent to the floor, bled the system and got no air, started truck and had half pedal that would lock up the brakes. Would like to get the pedal wher it should be, I can only think of one thing to do and that is adjust the shoes, any other Ideas?

I am doing a complete brake job as we speak. My pedal went to the floor a couple of weeks ago. It was apparent that the forward driver's side rear brake had a leaking wheel cylinder.

On removing the passenger side farthest to the rear drum it became apparent that a small leak had occurred for a long time ruining the brake shoes and leaving behind a greasy mess of brake fluid residue and dust. Apparently, the brakes would grab when pushed heavily, although I doubt it could lock up.

We will remove the forward rear axle drums today for a further autopsy of the problems.

With no back up system, it pays to check the brakes.
