Can anybody tell me what the bridge plate is for?

And what would be the correct trailer for the M880?

Just use the search function near the top of the page -there have been a couple of discussions on bridge plates.


We used to tow the pioneer tool trailers with the M880s in the Engineer Corps.

Not sure of the M- number. There were a couple on Ebay recently.

This is just one example. I'm sure someone else will probably have seen others in use?.

Any M101/M116 trailer is a go for the M880. Heck, I bet some 880's towned M416's!

If you're lucky and find the M01A1 or M116A1 it will have the 8 lug wheels too. Size is a little different but you could get away with one spare tire!
