Cabela' wants the Military Vehicle Owners to be part of this Special weekend. They have two stores in GA, Acworth and Augusta. They would like Military Vehicles displayed Saturday & Sunday. Many Veterans organizations have been invited. At the Acworth store you can be there Sat 9-6PM and Sun 11-6PM. Augusta contact the local store. The Acworth store just opened 8-21-2014 and is located in the Cherokee Village Shopping Center, 152 Northpoint Parkway, Acworth 30102. (I-75 N exit 277, right on GA Hwy 92, right on Northpoint Pkwy) Acworth contact is Alicia Furgeson 404-510-9988 cell, please reach out to her with questions or to get a contact person's name in Augusta. There is a small parking lot on the end of the building they can rope off for military vehicles only. Every car coming off 75 drives past this parking lot. Big Box sporting goods store, Hunting, Camping , Boating. Bill Beaudin was at the store Sunday and the store and parking lots were packed. Contact Alicia to tell her you want to attend. Cabela's stores nationwide will honor the contributions of those who serve, by offering employee pricing to all Veterans, active duty Military and Reserves, Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS personnel. The "Hometown Heroes" event will recognize the sacrifice and dedication of those who protect and serve our country and communities every day. To participate in this program, all Veterans, active duty Military and Reserves, Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS personnel should present their service identification to the cashier upon checkout at their local Cabela's Thursday, November 6th - Sunday, November 9th to receive their "Hometown Heroes" discount on virtually everything in the store. On Saturday and Sunday, organizations who recognize and work with our honored guests will join us with booths and activities to highlight the dedication and sacrifices of our "HOMETOWN HEROES"! |
