came across a m1031 today

found a m1031 not to far from me. knocked on the door. been sitting a long time. years.. was parked because the some lines rusted out. lots of rust. was a plow truck. part of the floors gone, rockers and cab corners are gone. chassis has some scale missing a few things on the inside. 43k on it. went back with tools and batteries. After I replaced the glow plug card. it did start up after some cranking. idle erratically. When it got warm idle would drop then go back up. maybe it a bad injection pump? Not sure if the generator works. Missing some things so I didn't even try. it should take a few pictures. was running late I had to get back home. He said make him an offer. Was going to fix the cab a bit. drop is beat up bed I have on it. sell the body generator I hope. lift it. Throw some swappers on it wheel the crap out of it. so what you things a good offer? Thanks for the help

I usually start at the high cost of a 60F. Figure $1500 and go up from there. If the truck is that rough, he shouldn't be offended by offering much more than scrap price. Maybe he isn't aware that the bed is aluminum.
